Ahh, it’s good to get outside! Summer is my time to heading outdoors and exploring. But, it doesn’t mean I stop baking, of course. I love to bake focaccia and other crusty loaves (like my Beginner’s Sourdough Bread) during this time. And if you’re lucky enough to live by the ocean, bread is the cornerstone of fantastic lunches in between dips in the ocean.

One of my favorite snacks to bring on summer hikes is a tuna salad sandwich, which is fantastic on a fresh and soft sourdough potato bun. Try it, you won’t be disappointed!
